1. Wine Highway Week
Previously known as the Wine Highway Weekend, the popular North Georgia event has expanded into a Wine Highway Week! Each spring, a group of Georgia’s best wineries, including Yonah Mountain Winery, join together to participate in a week full of fabulous wine tastings, tours, and special events hosted by the Winegrowers Association of Georgia. 2. Yonah Mountain Vineyards Crush Fest
Crush Fest is a day-long festival hosted by Yonah Mountain Winery featuring wine tastings, live music, food trucks, and an artisan market. You’ll also have the chance to participate in the annual grape stomping tradition accompanied by the musical talent of winery owners, Bob and Jane Miller. During the event, sample Yonah Mountain Vineyard wines, including special new releases, and take home a bottle of your favorite!
3. The Unicoi Wine Trail
Along with Sylvan Valley Lodge and Cellars and five other North Georgia wineries, The Yonah Mountain Winery is part of the fabulous Unicoi Wine Trail. Savor world-class wine as you sip and socialize at each participating winery. 4. Wine Cave Tours and Tastings
The Yonah Mountain Winery offers ongoing wine cave tours and tastings throughout the year. The 90-minute tours take place on Saturdays and Sundays and begin with a tasting of three barrel samples of unreleased wines and finish with five samples of current releases. In addition, you get to take home a beautiful, etched wine glass!
5. Live Music Saturdays
Every Saturday from 12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Yonah Mountain Winery hosts live music by talented, local musicians. This is a great time to sit back and relax with a glass of wine while enjoying the stunning North Georgia landscape.
